Earlier this year (2024) we started thinking that, since we were running multiple tournaments in multiple locations throughout the year, we really should be running some sort of Circuit Championships to honour the hard work and dedication of the many players who have been coming to our tournaments...

And so... the Winchester Rogue Traders League was born.

WRT League will follow the Calendar Year with the 1st of January being the start till the 31st December.

Winners will receive free entry to the following Winchester January GT, usually held on the last weekend of January the year where the presentation of trophies will be held after the normal tournament awards.

Everyone who has played at one of my tournament has automatically been entered and we have come up with a scoring system that gives a maximum of 20 ranking points per tournament.

The points out of 20 are based on these metrics: Placing, Percentage of Battle Points scored out of total available, Number of attendees, Number of rounds

There are 7 Super-Factions trophies to be won, plus an Overall Champion (Emperor's Champion) and a Commendation trophy called the "Valeria Vitrix" Award.

The Super-Factions are:

* Adeptus Astartes

* Aeldari

* Forces of Chaos

* Forces of the Imperium

* Heretic Astartes

* Hivemind

* Xenos

The Emperor's Champion Award will be the overall highest scorer based on their top 5 scores over the Year.

The Faction Champions will have their final ranking awarded based on the best 5 tournament ranking points throughout the year (excluding anyone who has already been awarded the Emperor's Champion for that year).

The Valeria Vitrix Award will be awarded based on total points throughout the year with no restriction on the number events scored... AND who has not won one of the other Awards.
